Health Check

The Health Check has been developed to provide a complete assessment of your GIS environment. One of our Senior Consultants will spend two days onsite with you completing a thorough assessment of your GIS environment. As part of the process they will talk to key people within your organisation.

You will receive a comprehensive report delivering a clear picture of your systems present functionality and recommendations with respect to future GIS system planning.

Major topics include:

• General IT Environmental Assessment - servers, applications, licenses and user feedback.
• Detailed Client Specific Assessment - server and client side software, data storage, performance.
• System Security - access, permissions, firewalls, ports, etc.
• Systems Capacity Planning - data and performance.
• Disaster Recovery - virtualisation, backup, restore, failover and redundancy, business continuity.
• Outsourcing Options (if applicable)
• General Client Feedback - summaries with regard to strategy, GIS utilisation, training, etc.
• Recommendations - priorities, timeframes with respect to all areas assessed.
