The Image Extension is particularly useful when you need to deploy imagery enterprise wide to a variety of clients, without preprocessing the data and without loading it into a DBMS. The Image Extension can dynamically process imagery and provides better image visualisation, reduces storage costs and requires less data processing and maintenance.
