XPLview
EGL’s newest cutting edge mapping interface, XPLview, uses ESRI’s ArcIMS or ArcGIS Server technology to provide fast and functional access to geographic and related data via the Intranet, Internet or Extranet.
Implemented using the latest development methodologies to future proof the platform for corporate GIS applications, XPLview offers users greater flexibility, wider scope for deployment and ease of customisation than existing EGL web based applications.
XPLview is supported by the inclusion of three application components developed by EGL – XPLadmin, XPLplot and XPLedit.
- XPLadmin is an advanced administration utility that provides for the seamless administration and configuration of the map interface.
- XPLplot enables high resolution, to scale printing via customisable templates, and can incorporate property based reports including imagery.
Developed in wide consultation with existing EGL Intranet GIS and Xplorer users, XPLview features core components, enabling greater functionality than existing products. In addition XPLview offers improved security features that allow the site administrator to control access to map services and map layers, and a simple feature mark up tool within the interface.
